Our espresso coffeeS
Our espresso-based coffees are made with Square Mile’s famous Red Brick blend. The components of this blend change seasonally in line with the harvest cycles so you can be assured of exceptional quality all year round.
We brew our espresso-based coffees on our custom-made, state-of-the-art Kees van der Westen Spirit machine. This espresso machine has earned its place in specialty coffee bars around the world thanks to its well-considered ergonomics and extreme precision. But mostly, we love our Spirit because it brews coffee that tastes as good as it looks.
Our filter coffees
We’re proud to offer a carefully curated selection of single origin beans. The beans we use for our filter coffee vary from week to week because coffee is seasonal yet we’re committed to quality at all times of the year.
We source our beans from farmers and roasters around the globe so that we can offer our customers world-class coffee as well as the chance to discover new and exciting flavours. Previous guest roasters have included Square Mile (London), White Label (Amsterdam), Fried Hats (Amsterdam) and Five Elephant (Berlin).
However, we know that good coffee is more than just good beans. Extracting the best flavours requires skill and precision in preparation. That’s why we invest in training for our baristas as well as top-quality brewing equipment. This includes Aeropress, V60 and batch filter coffee, but we’re always happy to chat through the options.
Our teas
We know that coffee isn’t for everyone, and actually we’re passionate about tea too. Our partnership with craft tea specialists Lalani & Co. means we also offer a range of flavour-expressive, single-batch teas. Choose from Assam and Darjeeling black teas or try green, white, Oolong or Matcha teas, all carefully sourced from small, family-run plantations around the world.
Our teas are carefully prepared and served in specially designed ceramic teapots (made in The Potteries of Stoke-on-Trent).
SUMMER DRINKS
When the sun is shining, we know that you might fancy a cold drink rather than something hot. Thankfully, we have a tasty selection of signature summer drinks for you to try.
Cold brew made using Square Mile's Sweetshop blend

Other drinks
We’re pleased to offer something for everyone and our menu includes a whole range of options beyond tea and coffee. If superfood lattes are for you, choose from matcha, turmeric or beetroot, or if you prefer something cooler, why not try a kombucha, maté or delicious MOJU cold pressed juice or booster.

We challenge you to resist our mouth-watering selection of cakes and pastries! They change daily so come in store to see what we’ve got at the moment. We also serve sandwiches and an exciting brunch menu. Each item is made using only the freshest ingredients - mmm, tasty and healthy!
PROUD PLASTIC FREE CHAMPIONS
Reducing our impact on the environment is important to us and we are committed to the circular economy. We were proud to be one of the first five businesses in Crouch End to be awarded Plastic Free Champion Status back in 2018. Our cups have been compostable from day one and we welcome customers to dispose of them using the bin outside our shop which is sent off for industrial composting.
